Hanna Stroud
Founder of My Literacy Space

I own a tutoring and consulting company where I help develop key language and literacy skills in young children.

Through my years of experience I’ve developed engaging activities that both parents and educators alike can implement to nurture foundational skills. I’m passionate about creating and sharing innovative activities, reviewing and promoting the best children’s picture books, and teaching you how to use wordless picture books. My goal is simple - that with my resources you are able to instill a passion in young minds so that they, too, can develop a deep love for reading and learning that will last a lifetime.

“Discovering that I needed to change most of what I knew of literacy instruction was intimidating and I didn't know where to start. Hanna's conversational, helpful style and "I've been there" attitude gave me the confidence to continually improve.”

Awesome and authentic as usual yet connects so much with how I want my teaching to be like!”

“Hanna is a wealth of knowledge! Even though I’ve been teaching a long time I still turn to Hanna to help me with all of my literacy questions and find new ways to liven up literacy in my classroom.”

“Hanna provides a wealth of information that is comprehensive, explicit, creative and strategic! Amazing!!”

“I was fully engaged throughout this entire webinar. Hanna is SO knowledgeable about literacy and there is an obvious passion for the information she is sharing. She makes all of the strategies and information easy for listeners to absorb while giving MANY examples of the HOW. This is super important to me instead of just knowing about something and why it is important, I love that I feel confident implementing this immediately after her webinar.”
